I was out of town last weekend and I’m trying to get caught up! In the process, I missed this week’s New Release with Digistamps4Joy! So let’s time travel back a little and show off some of the new releases!
We released this absolutely beautiful butterfly hydrangea! I love hydrangeas and these butterflies make it so cute! I had a blast coloring this image! In fact, I might just have another card using it coming up in February! 🙂
I’m trying to get better at creating matching envelopes for my cards and decorating the inside!
And some more pictures of the matching envelope.
Stamps: Digistamps 4 Joy Butterfly Hydrangea, Gina K Designs Made With Love, Gina K Designs Scripty Sayings
Paper: Stash, Gina K Designs for the Envelope

I’m a little late with this one and it’s not my favorite card but I still thought I’d share it.
But first the sketch.
and now the card!
I just realized that sometime between when I finished the card and took the picture one of the little blings in the corner fell off. I swear there used to be 3. I also am missing a picture… I had a picture of the card and envelope together…. I edited it and not I can’t find it…. But I have other pictures of the envelope I’ll show you in a little bit.
But first the inside of the card.
And the back.
And finally the envelope. First the front.
And the back of the envelope.
I find that I almost always make really cutesy birthday cards. I love the more mature style this card ended up with.
And today’s final post! I just felt like separating the re-release for DS4J.
I can tell I rushed through these last couple cards… But this one isn’t so bad.

Time for a new challenge over on the DS4J blog! This month the theme is Anything Goes with an optional roses twist! I knew I wanted to do red roses and ended up being inspired to do a Beauty and the Beast color scheme!
Stamps: Just Rite Cling Script Background Stamp, DS4J Stained Glass Roses
Ink: Stampin up pacific point, gloruious green, real red, night of navy
Apparently I actually need 2 weeks off….. Do you ever have that problem have a really crazy week and then realize you actually still needed another week just to catch up on everything that you didn’t get done when you were busy?
Hopefully I can get all caught up and back on track this week. My summer is starting to wind down (I have 2 more weeks of shows at the theater and 1 more visit with a friend from out of town) then I should be able to get back on track!
Now what you’re actually here to see! This go-round we are doing something really fun at Digistamps 4 Joy. instead of putting out some new stamps we’re re-releasing some older ones! I always think it’s cool to bring out some older products that sometimes get overlooked and forgotten about.
The stamp I used is called Lillie for you!
It’s time for another release at DS4J! It was so hard to pick an image to work with this time!
It’s hard to see one the picture but I put clear embossing powder over Bella’s Umbrella, Jacket, and boots. As well as the puddle she’s standing in to give it a sort of shiny quality.
To make the rain drops I used a Perlen-pen. I simply didn’t leave it as a circle and used the tip of the pen to drag through and make a little point.
Stamps: Brolly Bella
Paper: Gina K Base Weight, Gina K Layering Weight, Stash
Ink: Chameleon Pens ( I wrote down the colors but can’t read my handwriting :P)
Accessories: Versamark Pen, Sparkle N Sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder, Perlen-pen Glitter Sky

Classic Design Team Challenge
Hi everyone, Today we are starting a Blog Hop from July 7 till July 14 at Digistamps4Joy. It would be great fun if you join in and have a look at all the great cards the Design Team has made. We all made easel cards embellished with either glitter or sequins. One follower of the main Digistamps4Joy challenge blog will win a digistamp, so make sure you are a follower there. If you visit each of the links in the list of blog participants and leave a comment on each blog, you may be the lucky person to win a Digistamps4Joy digistamp from each one! By leaving a comment on each of the participating blogs, you can earn an extra digi on this main blog. And the digi you can win is what the DT made on her card. So anyone who leaves a comment on the blogs and follows the challenge blog from Digistamps4Joy can win a digi from any of the Design Team blogs. So, you can earn a total of 5 digis! Isn’t that a cool prize?
That’s right you can earn 5 digis! There are 4 different digis being given away on the DT Blogs and 1 digi you can win on the main blog! So you should definitely play along!
You should have come here from Margaret’s Blog and after you leave your comment here you should head to Tertia’s Blog.
As soon as I heard the sequin twist to this blog hop I knew I wanted to use this stamp! I mean sequins and musicians go together! I was a little sppoked by the easel card and I did mess up but it still looks cute!
