Wedding Card

We had a family friend get married a few weeks ago and so I made her a card and here it is.

Once again the card base is pre bought the bigger blue paper is DCWV glitter mat stack the other blue paper is just Joann essentials I think… I stamped the background with Big and Bossy tinted embossing Ink and heat embossed with some Joann’s silver embossing powder. The big sticker is from Joliee’s Boutique which I believe my mom bought from walmart.

Long Time No See

Whew! It’s been a long a time since I posted. I’m afraid I lost my crafting mojo for a bit but after getting a bunch of fun crafty things for my birthday yesterday I think It’s coming back. I’ve also been pretty busy with the show I’ve been working on… We’ve been having trouble getting volunteers to work backstage but things are starting to look up with that. I also have some crafty things to make for the show. I’ll make sure to take some pictures and show them off when I get a chance.  I also want to mention that I’ve joined a blogging group over at splitcoaststampers Check out all the lovely ladies of Chics with Paper Power Tools over in my side bar.

Now on to what you really care about. My card.

Pretty Cute.
What I used:
Card Base: Pre bought
Paper: DCWV glitter mat stack, Generic white paper
Stamp: Paper Squirrel digital freebie
Extras: I don’t really have a clue where that eyelet is from…. I’m going to guess Joanns… and I colored her with markers and colored pencils of no specific brand because I colored her a long time ago…

Sleeping Beauty, Happy Birthday

Pink and orange has to be one of my favorite color combinations. The orange is Best Occasions textured card stock that I got at Walmart and the polka dot paper is from K and I memories. The Sleeping Beauty stamp is from a clear stamp Disney princess set I got from Joanns and the sentiment stamp is stamped in Memento Angel Pink and says how old would be if you didn’t know how old you are. Unfortunately again it’s another set that is no longer labeled. The flower shape that the sentiment is stamped on is cut with elegant edges and the card and envelope are cut from Wild Card.

Orange Rose

Someday I will actually come up with good titles for my cards….

I apologize for the blurry picture my camera has been acting up… But anyway this card was pretty simple once again both stamps are from old clear stamp sets that I don’t have the labels for anymore however if anyone recolonizes them and can tell me where there from… Once again all the paper is scrap paper the ink is Memento Tuxedo Black and Studio G Black. The rose is colored with tombow markers. The card I actually cut on my Cricut using Just Because Cards and the red border above the yellow is cut using the border feature on the Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge.

Flowers and Friends

I did something a little different on this card. The card base is one of the card and envelope sets from Archivers the flower stamp is from stampendous which I colored with copics and the sentiment stamp is from one of my unmarked clear sets.  So the challenge for this card is to use 2 windows. So I took 2 of my spellbinders nestablities dies. (The top one is labels 8 and the bottom one is scallop circle) I ran the card through my cuttlebug and cut out the windows. I then glued the stamped image back into the cutout and stamped the sentiment to fit in the circle..

Heartfelt Wishes

This card was really simple to put together. The green leafy paper is from my scrap box both stamps are from  unmarked clear stamp sets I have from when I first started stamping and I cut the shape that Heartfelt Wishes is stamped on with my Cricut and my elegant edges cartridge.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo black and Studio G black

And my big news… I am currently going to school to become an elementary school teacher. And early this week I got my acceptance letter into my schools college of education!

More ballons!

It’s June!! My Birthday is in June so I thought I would start off with a birthday card using my favorite color! It’s nice and simple.

The balloon stamp is from one of the fiskars happy birthday stamp sets and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Michals dollar bin. I think that’s one of my favorite Happy Birthday stamps that I have! I love the big letters. I colored the balloons with conics and all the paper is from my scrap box.
